Determinant of the Study Period for Mathematics Education Students at IAIN Bukittinggi Based on CHAID Method

The study period of program graduates is one the accreditation assessments carried out by Independent Accreditation Agencies for Education or LAMDIK. have a less than five years getting highest point in assessment matrix criterion 9, namely tri-dharma outputs and achievements. However, most from various universities Indonesia completed their studies more 4 years. This case also happened to Mathematics at IAIN Bukittinggi. There were 70% who aim this research was determine factors that influence graduates’ characteristics able complete descriptive quantitative with correlation 10 independent variable affect period. By using total sampling, there 340 as sample research. Documentation questionnaires used collect data. Then, CHAID method analyze result showed that, first, 5 variables period, thesis completion, gender, major high school, mother’s occupation, track university entrance.
